Just when you thought you’d seen it all…
A suspect in the slaying of a McDonald’s customer who failed to hold the door for a woman was taken into custody — but the suspect escaped after being left alone in an interview room, authorities said.
Alonso Perez, 25, was brought in for questioning Friday in the Aug. 27 shooting death of Mohammed Robinson, 31. Robinson was gunned down in a McDonald’s parking lot, allegedly after he failed to hold the door open for another patron.
Authorities placed Perez in an interview room at the North Las Vegas Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
When they checked on him, he was gone.
I know your thinking how in the heck did he get out of the interview room? Well apparently he was able to manipulate the cuffs enough to squeeze his wrist through and escape. Perez managed to steal a white 2016 Ford F-250 pickup from the Police Station of all places.
The Police were able to locate and recover the Vehicle with Perez no where to be found. As of now he’s still on the loose and Police are asking if anyone has any information on Perez to call 702-633-9111.
