When it comes to the direction of her career, Rita Ora has finally gotten things to go her way.  It was just months ago it was reported she’d filed suit against Roc Nation citing abandonment and neglect as an artist.

Ora had signed a 5 album deal with Roc Nation back in 2008 and only released one Album under the label.  Her complaint stated that through the years the label failed to maintain her promotional presence online or elsewhere, that and she had to pay for her own studio cost. Rita utilized California’s “seven-year rule” restricting the length of labor contracts in order to win her case.

All I have to say is good for her, I knew she got tired of her star dimming under the likes of Beyonce & Rihanna.  Those two are such a powerhouse under The Roc Nation imprint, it can be a bit intimidating.

As of now the singer has been secretive about whom she’s been negotiating and has signed with.  But dropped clues on her snap chat that a contract is in the works.
