Atlanta Based Rapper Young Thug is taking the Rap game to new levels with this controversial photo for his new album Entitled “No, My Name is Jeffrey.  And as his label head revealed recently, Young Thug shall now be known as “No,My Name is Jeffrey”-Young Thug Has Officially Changed His Name.

An idea that sound just as silly as this cover photo looks,  what man is buying this album?  With another man posing in a Periwinkle Dress & umbrella hat, looking like a hot mess.  I guess this is one step up from having to see his face, he looks so much like a male version of Ms.Celi in this photo.  Even with his face covered.  All I can think about when I see Jeffrey is that part in Color Purple where Celie greets Shug Avery at the door with the mud on her face.This isn’t the first nor the last time Thugger has dressed in women’s clothing and not once has any mainstream hip hop media or Pop Culture Junkies come for him or his Gender Fluidity in which he’s bringing into Rap-Young Thug Is a Pretty Young Model Now..  As though they’ve been waiting for someone who’d be bold enough to do it in the Urban Market.

Thugger explained to GQ last year, “Women’s clothes are slimmer than men’s clothes.” “The jeans I got on right now, they’re women’s jeans. But they fit how they’re supposed to fit. Like a rock star. The only thing I probably have in men’s is, like, briefs. T-shirts. Ninety percent of my clothes are women’”

Pictures are worth a thousand words, so you have to ask yourself what is Young Thug really trying to say by donning this Garb on his cover?  What do you think?

He also dropped a preview of the Track List and explained he named every track after one of his Favorite Idols.

If the look he was going for was Hood Bo Peep Chick with a side of the Orient, I’d say he pulled it off.  The Album is Set to drop at Midnight tonight, so we’ll see how it does in comparison to Frank Oceans recent Visual & Streaming Albums.
