In America were all for Freedom of Speech, but that speech cannot impede or alienate anyone else rights or be threatening in nature. And a lot of people took out their anger about Trump being elected, by voicing their frustration online in calling for his death. Some of course did it jokingly, others blatantly. Either way its not something you want to play around with and Zachary Benson is as recen learning his lesson in this matter.
24 year-old Zachary Benson of Ohio is going down in History as the first person being charged with threatening to kill President Elect Donald Trump and his arrest is just the beginning of many to come.
The Daily Mail reports:
A 24-year-old man from Ohio has been charged in a federal court after tweeting a threat to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump on election night.
Zachary Benson, from Fairview Park in Cleveland, posted the remark on Twitter a few minutes before the Republican nominee was declared the winner of last week’s election.
Benson tweeted: ‘My life goal is to assassinate Trump. Don’t care if I serve infinite sentences. That man deserves to decease (sic) existing.’
Seconds earlier he tweeted: ‘Diplomacy. F***ing fools. I hate you all. I want to bomb every one of your voting booths and your general areas.’
Benson was arrested a few hours later and interviewed by the Secret Service.
If you’ve been running your mouth on social media and if your one of those who’ve called for his death, don’t be surprised if you get a knock on the door.
Good grief, he’s already the oldest president ever elected. He will die soon enough, without help. The job might kill him.
