Picture photo’d above is Fantasia Barrino from an event earlier Tuesday afternoon in NYC.  I guess she figured since she was in New York and Fly she’d be out and seen on the scene.  So Fantasia made her way down to her old stumping grounds on Broadway and caught up with not only her fellow “American Idol”  but also now her “Color Purple” Alum Jennifer Hudson.

I’m proud of Jennifer Hudson she’s come a long way since American Idol and losing her family members. I know it’s a lot to deal and struggle with, but she’s persevered none the less.  It’s good to see that they’ve built a friendship and a respect amongst each other where they can come out and support one another.  There both beautiful talented women and it would be cool to see them work on an album and if not at least a song together.
