NC GOV. SIGNS BILL TO KEEP POLICE BODY CAM FOOTAGE PRIVATE

PAT MCCRORYGovernor Pat McCrory decided in the day in age where a majority of Citizens are afraid of Cops, to put a deeper stigma into their already fragile state of mind.  By signing House Bill 972 into law to making North Carolina Police body cam footage private to Citizens. 

He felt that in times of turmoil that releasing footage distorts the character of the Police Officer to the Public and it doesn’t offer a full perspective of who that person is what he’s basically saying.  I can understand that but same thing can be said about the person who lost their life unnecessarily.  Activist believe it would make it harder to hold Officer’s accountable for that actions and that’s a huge concern for them, considering that’s what the All Lives & Black Lives Matter Movement is all about.  Having a voice for those who are no longer here to speak and who were taken prematurely from this world.
