With all these untold, unpaid lawsuits and debts, it’s a wonder why any Artist worth their weight in Gold would even still believe Cash Money Records was worth signing to.

 Wayne filed suit as recent as last year alleging Birdman of Cash Money owed him over 50 Million Dollars in past due royalties-Lil Wayne Suing Universal Music Group & Birdman For Unpaid Royalties!?.  There has still been no resolve on the lawsuit as of yet in that case.

This case is involving Drake royalties and coincidently a friend and Confidant Jas Prince had a judgement in his favor on his cut of Drakes royalties-Jas Prince Wins Drake Royalties Case... he himself won last year and now other investors who hold a stake are looking for their cut as well.

According to PageSix:

Drake signed an exclusive recording deal with Florida-based Aspire Music in 2008, the Manhattan Supreme Court suit says.

A year later, Aspire entered into a second agreement with Cash Money to receive one-third of profits from Drake’s licensing and songwriting sales.

But Cash Money has been stiffing Aspire on its share — and refusing to provide a full accounting, the suit says.

A Cash Money rep did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
