It was months ago the rumors were brewing that Wayne was set to join or had already joined Roc Nation. Those were quickly debunked by Wayne’s Manager Cortez Bryant.  But this announcement was made just this past week and as of yet no one has come out and called Weezy a lie.  

With all the turmoil that Weezy has gone through being signed to Cash Money, I hope this is something that will finally allow him to be artistically free.  I’m certain he felt like a slave being there under Birdman, as he never fully paid Wayne all his Advances or Royalties.  See-Lil Wayne Sues for Royalties
