There seems to have been some confusion as of late as to where the Hip Hop MC hailed from all Thanks to a XXL Magazine article, which claimed Post Malone was from Syracuse, NY.  No one can truly fault XXL for making the crucial mistake, considering Malones wiki page stated he was from Syracuse.

The true origins of Post Malone is that he was born in syracuse,ny and grew up in Grapevine,TX a small suburb just outside of Dallas.  The Texas raised rapper has garnered national praise and attention for his lyrically laced lyrics and swag.  He’s no stranger to hardwork, almost miraculously blowing up over night, but if you were a true Post Malone fan you were with him from the underground.
